Update on COVID 19 vaccine side effects from the CDC
As most of you know, this office has been a voice against taking the
COVID 19 vaccines from the beginning. The primary reason for that
stance has been there was insufficient clinical data to either
recommend against taking the vaccine or taking the vaccine. We just
didn’t know and as such, knowing we had effective, safe treatments for
COVID, we saw no need to take the risk of an unknown medical
treatment.
On December 1, 2022 the medical journal “Virology” released a study
of 17.4 million Medicare recipients who received the vaccines and
booster shots. The data is concerning. The study raised concerns on 4
severe side effects of the vaccines: pulmonary embolism (blood clots);
acute myocardial infarction (heart attack); disseminated intravascular
coagulation; and immune thrombocytopenia (can cause internal
bleeding or heart attack). The researchers then applied various
adjustments to the data and concluded that only one side effect had
enough instance to meet what they called the signal threshold. That is
Pulmonary Embolisms (PE). However, I would disagree that the
adjustments they used were accurate. You can read the adjustments in
section 3.3 of the study entitled Signal Evaluation.
Blood clots (PE) have been associated with the mRNA vaccines from the
outset of the clinical trials which are scheduled to end in May 2023. In
May of 2022 England stopped recommending the vaccines for men
under the age of 35 because of the prevalence of blood clots and
Denmark followed suit shortly after.
In Florida in October of 2022, the Surgeon General of Florida came out
with data that caused the State of Florida to no longer recommend the
vaccines for anyone under the age of 65. They state that the risk of
severe side effects including death far outweigh the benefits of the
vaccines. This action has drawn harsh criticism from public health
officials in the federal government who did not deny the side effects
but instead said the Surgeon General did not take into account the risks
associated with the infection itself. The Florida Surgeon General
replied, “with the degree of immunity in Florida, the calculus (of risk)
was simpler”.
As of December 9, 2022, according to open VAERs data, (the CDC
vaccine injury database) there have been 32,828 COVID Vaccine
reported deaths, 186,098 total COVID Vaccine reported hospitalizations
and 1,481,226 Adverse Event Reports that required medical treatment.
There has never been a vaccine with so many reported side effects in
the history of VAERS. Critics of VAERs state that anyone can file a
report on VAERS. That is true but 98% of the reports are made by
medical professionals so the reports are very likely to be accurate. It
takes between a half an hour and an hour to file the report, so this is a
process not to be taken lightly.
Last week, after a year of stalling from the CDC and the FDA, Attorney
Adam Siri of The Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN) was finally
given the data from the CDC’s VSafe program. VSafe is a phone
application that allows anyone receiving a COVID vaccine to report
adverse events. The CDC originally released VSafe data on 10 million
users and stated that the data indicated that there was less than 1% of
the 10 million users who had experienced an adverse event that
required medical treatment. When Attorney Siri received the data, he
found that the information that had been released was only for one
week after the shot was given. One week. When the CDC gave the
remaining data which was for 42 days after the shot, the data changed
significantly.
The rate of severe adverse events (which included 2 deaths) was 7.7%.
This is an astronomical number which has never been seen in any
vaccine prior to this. You can see the data and Adam Siri’s analysis of
the data here
Therefore, our stance is still the same. Since there are safe and
effective treatments for COVID, there is no need to take a vaccine
which has garnered so many reports of severe side effects.
